OVERVIEW
ForceField® Dry Cleaning Fluid
is specially designed for applications for which
water-based cleaners are not suitable. It can be used on
silk and synthetic materials with the “S” (dry clean only)
designation. In addition, this professional strength
product will remove even the toughest oily and greasy
stains that water-based cleaners can’t.
How & Why ForceField® Dry
Cleaning Fluid Works
Oil
and grease are generally insoluble in water, and solvents
and/or emulsified surfactants are required to remove them
from fabrics. ForceField® Dry Cleaning Fluid
was developed to address the special cleaning needs of
dryclean only fabrics and fibers. Combining natural citrus
with other deep-cleaning solvents has created a product
with superior grease and oil-lifting properties. Once the
soil has been lifted from the surface, it can be blotted
onto a cleaning cloth.
Applications
Always test for compatibility by applying ForceField®
Dry Cleaning Fluid to an inconspicuous area of
the surface to be cleaned. As this is a solvent-based
product, exercise proper caution by using it in a
well-ventilated area. Do not use near flame, sparks,
heated surfaces, or other potential sources of ignition.
For use as a spot remover, apply a
small amount of ForceField® Dry Cleaning
Fluid onto a clean white cloth and gently blot the
stained area. Using either a clean dry portion of the
cloth or another clean cloth, blot the area dry. It is
recommended to blot from the outer edges of the stain
towards the center of the stain. Repeat as needed to
remove the stain. A hair dryer can be used to dry the
cleaned area and help reduce ringing or shadows.
ForceField® Dry Cleaning Fluid
can also be used to remove heavy grease and oil stains
from water-safe fabrics. When used on water-safe fabrics,
it is recommended to follow spot removal with use of
ForceField® Fabric and Upholstery Cleaner
to ensure that all residue has been thoroughly removed.
